EEHA-Installation, Maintenance and Inspection
WHO IS THIS COURSE AIMED AT?
This 4 day course and is intended for Electrical workers and Electrical Engineers. This course covers the practical aspects of the course content with emphasis on inspection and testing.
SCOPE:
This qualification provides competencies to supervise selection, installation, commissioning maintenance and testing of explosion-protected equipment and systems for control and monitoring of plant and processes. The qualification provides competencies in working with explosion protections techniques with elections in how they apply to, gas and dust atmospheres. It includes ERAC requirements for an ‘Electrician’s licence’ and competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain stand-alone renewable energy equipment and systems.
ELIGIBILITY FOR COURSE ENROLMENT:
Candidates must hold a current ‘Unrestricted Electricians’ licence or qualified Electrical Engineers Electrical Engineers must provide proof of their qualifications.

Entry Requirements
The entry requirement for this qualification is:
UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
or
a current ‘Unrestricted Electricians Licence’ or its equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory.
COURSE OUTCOMES:
Statement of Attainment (SOA) – UEE42622 Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas- Electrical
Graduates who are successfully competent in both theoretical and practical training completing all units of competency listed above, will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA).A Statement of Attainment is issued when an individual has completed one or more accredited units. These competencies form part of UEE42622 Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical
EEHA – Refresher Course
Course Duration: 3 Days
SCOPE:
EEHA Refresher Training is a 3 days’ course. It provides competencies to supervise selection, installation, commissioning maintenance and testing of explosion-protected equipment and systems for control and monitoring of plant and processes. During the training, the standards/regulation changes is thoroughly explained so the students’ knowledge is current.
ELIGIBILITY FOR COURSE ENROLMENT or Entry Requirements
Candidates must
- Hold a current ‘Unrestricted Electricians’ licence
- Have completed EEHA (Statement of Attainment) or equivalent in the past 5 years
- Have been conducting hazardous areas related work, e.g., inspections, maintenance, installation & testing in the past 5 years
